Lock Actuator, Rear

Begin the back door lock assembly removal procedure by taking out the back door center garnish followed by the left-hand side back door side garnish and finally the right-hand side back door side garnish. You must remove the back door trim board assembly after you have taken out the back door center garnish. The lock assembly needs its back door lock control cable sub-assembly disconnected followed by rod disconnection according to the illustration and connector unplug. Finish the back door lock assembly uninstallation by removing three bolts that secure it.

Proceed to install the rear door glass run, rear door glass sub-assembly, rear door rear guide seal, rear door rear window guide sub-assembly, rear door service hole cover for both configurations, rear door inner glass weatherstrip, rear door inside handle sub-assembly, rear door trim board sub-assembly, rear door armrest upper base panel for both configurations, rear door inside handle bezel, and finally the rear door window regulator handle assembly for the non-power window configuration.

Install the front door outside handle assembly, outside handle cover, rear lower frame sub-assembly, glass run, glass sub-assembly, service hole cover for both configurations, inner glass weatherstrip, inside handle sub-assembly, trim board sub-assembly, and the front armrest upper base panel for both configurations.

Remove the front door outside handle cover and the outside handle assembly.

Connect the connector and attach the rod as illustrated.

Use a "TORX" socket wrench (T30) to remove the 3 screws, then move the assembly downward and pull the release plate out of the rear door outside handle frame.
