Service for the Auxiliary Cigarette Lighter requires first removing the shift lever knob sub-assembly of manual transaxle transmission followed by removal of center instrument cluster finish panel and rear console box assembly. Start by disassembling the cigarette lighter assembly through a clockwise turning motion which separates the claw from the cigarette lighter cover before pushing the socket towards the room opening. The installation of the cigarette lighter assembly requires orientation of the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter cover followed by hard force insertion of the assembly along with adequate locking. Put back the rear console box assembly and shift lever knob sub-assembly for manual transaxle and center instrument cluster finish panel assembly.
