  A: The condenser removal process begins with disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable followed by a minimum 90-second wait time to avoid activating Air Bags and seat belts pretensioners. The refrigeration system needs its refrigerant discharged before technicians can disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose by removing its bolt and O-ring.
