First service the A/C Accumulator by emptying refrigerant from the refrigeration system while performing air evacuation and refrigerant charging that includes a leak inspection process. The Access cab and Standard cab require refrigerant installation of 600 plus or minus 50 g which corresponds to 21.16 plus or minus 1.76 oz. When servicing the accumulator you should disconnect the liquid tubes by first removing the two bolts while torquing them to 5.4 N.m then immediately installing tube caps to seal off the system from moisture and dirt exposure. Place compressor oil on two new O-rings before installing them on the tubes. The process to remove the accumulator starts with unbolting the holder followed by pulling the accumulator down. The procedure requires adding 20 cc (0.71 fl.oz.) of ND-OIL 8 or equivalent compressor oil when changing accumulators. All steps can be undone by following the installation procedures in reverse sequence.
