Start camshaft servicer by disconnecting the negative cable from the terminal followed by removing No. 1 engine under cover subassembly bolts (for 4WD). Engine coolant drainage occurs before removing the radiator support to frame seal LH and the fan shroud together with the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and the intake air connector and cylinder head cover sub-assembly from its mounting position by disconnecting all ignition coil connectors, throttle with motor body connector, VSV connector, camshaft position sensor connector and removing engine wire harness clamps for subsequent ignition coils removal and removal of the 19 bolts and 2 nuts which secure the cylinder head cover. The procedure for camshaft removal begins by uninstalling the timing chain guide using its two bolts and O-ring before proceeding to set the No. 1 cylinder at TDC/compression. Remove all necessary costs for installation of the No. 1 engine under cover subassembly according to torque specifications.
