- Q: How to service and repair the blower motor on 2006 Toyota Solara?A: Begin service and repair of the blower motor by removing the clean air filter from its position using 2 fitting claws then removing the air filter sub-assembly next to take out the clean air filter from the front cooler frame. Unscrew the cowl wire No. 2 by breaking its securing clamp. The process starts with unscrewing all 3 servo sub-assembly screws and air inlet servomotor screws from the recirculation damper. Service of the instrument panel wire No. 3 needs three clamp removal steps for both manual and auto A/C models. Begin by unscrewing the 2 screws from the blower resistor and proceed with taking off the blower motor control after removing its 2 screws. The service procedure ends with sub-assembly removal when you unscrew its 3 screws. The reassembly order starts with blower w/fan motor sub-assembly then blower motor control followed by blower resistor before moving to instrument panel wire No. 3 followed by recirculation damper servo sub-assembly and cowl wire No. 2 and ends with clean air filter installation.
