Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 is used for sensor installation into the exhaust manifold at 40 N.m (408 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf) torque with the tool or 44 N.m (449 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf) without it but always maintain a torque wrench with a 30 cm (11.81 in.) fulcrum length while keeping the tool and wrench properly aligned. The sensor connector must be connected before reinstalling the cable to the negative battery terminal while performing exhaust gas leak inspection.
