  A: The replacement procedure starts by disconnecting battery negative and then following up with engine under cover RH removal and subsequent removal of cylinder head cover No.2 and ignition coil assembly and cylinder head cover sub-assembly. First step is to position the first cylinder at TDC/Compression and afterward remove the second camshaft through a process that includes adding matchmarks between the timing chain and camshaft timing gear and taking off the 2 nuts and chain tensioner from the camshaft while gradually loosening the camshaft timing gear set bolt with camshaft support and then uniformly removing all 11 bolts and 5 bearing caps to pull off the camshaft timing gear. Use a string to tie the timing chain before removing the camshaft through even bolt removal of the 8 bolts and 4 bearing caps. The camshaft and camshaft timing gear can then be extracted after holding the timing chain.
