How to service the front Sway Bar Kit on 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser?

The first step for servicing the front sway bar kit requires removal of the engine under cover. The left-hand front sway bar link assembly requires detaching with bolt removal followed by nut detachment and then removal of 2 retainers and 2 cushions and finally the sway bar link under the specified torques 52 Nm (530 kgf-cm, 38 ft. lbs.) for the bolt and 25 Nm (250 kgf-cm, 18 ft. lbs.) for the nut. Perform the same process also on the right-hand side. Service the front sway bar kit by first taking out its 4 bolts and 2 brackets and 2 cushions at a torque level of 18 Nm (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.) then removing the sway bar kit. To install the component follow the reversal of un-installation procedures while verifying the front wheel alignment at the end of installation.
