  A: The service procedures for front wiper motor and link begin with disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal followed by a minimum 90-second waiting period before proceeding to avoid Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. Begin by taking out the front wiper arm head cap after which both front wiper arms and blades must be removed from the right and left sides. Remove the hood to cowl top seal by using a clip remover tool on its 5 clips and the seal while following the compatible procedure. Proceed by unscrewing the cowl top ventilator louvers from both sides while disconnecting their 4 clips and 5 claws. To continue the process remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly after disconnecting the connector and taking out the three bolts.
