    A: The Heated Oxygen Sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 1 requires service through first disconnecting the negative battery cable near the terminal then waiting 90 seconds to stop Air Bag/pretensioner activation. The heated oxygen sensor requires removal after disconnecting its sensor connector followed by tool use of Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to remove the sensor. The sensor installation requires Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to accomplish with a torque of 44 N.m (449 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf) when using the tool and 40 N.m (408 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf) without it while using a torque wrench with a 30 cm (11.81 in.) fulcrum length. After attaching the sensor connector proceed to reconnect the cable at the negative battery terminal and perform leak and problem area tightening and part replacement when needed.
