A 2WD propeller shaft assembly requires start at center support bearing installation onto intermediate shaft followed by a correct orientation check. An application of MP grease to the intermediate shaft splines follows by mounting the spacer and dust cover. Synchronize the matchmarks when placing the center yoke onto the shaft and confirm that the front side yoke of the intermediate shaft and center yoke will point in the same direction when installing either the center yoke or intermediate shaft. Push the bearing inside the yoke using a vise clamp and new nut until it reaches 181 Nm (1,845 kgf-cm, 133 ft. lbs.) torque settings, then you can remove the vise clamp. The nut requires loosening before a re-torquing to 82 Nm (835 kgf-cm, 60 ft. lbs.) that finishes with the hammer and punch staking process. Make both shafts connect by fitting the center yoke which requires the correct matchmark alignment.
