When performing RACK & PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY installation, 2WD requires 4 bolts yet 4WD needs 2 bolts and 2 nuts where the bolt must be loosened because the nut is non-rotational before suspending the assembly. Utilize the correct procedure to suspend the ENGINE ASSEMBLY according to 1ZZ-FE or 2ZZ-GE specifications. The FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY can be separated using a set of bolts and nuts for disconnection of transverse engine mounting insulator and engine mounting member sub-assembly center followed by lowering the transmission jack to extract the assembly.
