    A: Begin repairs of the Clutch Slave Cylinder by first removing the bleeder plug and then removing the union bolt before taking off the two gaskets and union. To service and repair the Clutch Slave Cylinder start by removing the boot with push rod and piston containing the spring through compressed air while using a waste cloth to hold the piston to stop it from jumping and prevent brake fluid splashing. Lithium soap base glycol grease should be applied to the piston before installing the piston with spring into the cylinder for reassembly. Install the boot with push rod to the cylinder and then mount the union beside two new gaskets before torquing the union bolt to 24.5 Nm (250 kgf-cm, 18 ft. lbs.). The bleeder plug installation requires torquing the plug to 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 inch lbs.).
