How to replace the rear Ride Height Sensor on 2005 Toyota 4Runner?

The first step to replace the rear height control sensor requires removing the rear disc wheel. Attend to removing the connector from the height control sensor before placing matchmarks on the link together with the bracket. Apart from disconnecting the sensor link by removing its nut you must remove the two bolts fastening the height control sensor. Set the height control sensor in place using two bolts which should be tightened to 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft. lbs.). Connect the height control sensor connector after marking matchpoints on the sensor link and bracket. Then link the sensor with the nut and torque it to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 inch lbs.). Before moving ahead you must reinstall the rear disc wheel then torque it to 112 Nm (1,140 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.) while making necessary height measurements of the vehicle.
