The first requirement is to position the front wheels directly ahead before removing the horn button assembly and the steering wheel assembly through use of Special Service Tool: 09950-50013 (09951-05010, 09952-05010, 09953-05020, 09954-05021). The first step is to take out the 3 screws holding up the steering column cover before proceeding to disconnect and remove the clock spring sub-assembly that requires separating connectors from the Air Bag and the cable assembly then dislodging 3 claws to separate it.
