How to replace the thermostat on 2005 Scion tC?

To install a thermostat (2AZ-FE) drain coolant, remove water inlet, and displace old thermostat. The new one can be installed with a gasket, with the jiggle valve upwards. Connect the water inlet, tighten to 9.0 Nm and add coolant and verify leaks.
