How to replace the headlamp dimmer switch assembly on 2004 Toyota Prius?

The replacement of the headlamp dimmer switch assembly requires disconnecting the negative battery terminal first. First remove the steering wheel cover lower No.2 and lower No.3 then retrieve the horn button assembly and steering wheel assembly through the use of Special Service Tool: 09950-50013 (09951-05010, 09952-05010, 09953-05020, 09954-05021). First disconnect the connectors from the headlamp dimmer switch assembly while using a band clamp to remove it along with its claws. Install the new headlamp dimmer switch assembly by placing the rotating stopper's recessed section in correct alignment then fasten it with band clamp and claw while connecting all connectors. After centering the spiral cable you must reinstall both the steering wheel assembly together with the horn button assembly. The operator should reconnect the negative battery terminal followed by checking the horn button assembly and SRS warning light before executing the initialization process.
