How to replace the Ignition Switch or starter switch assembly on 2004 Toyota Matrix?

Start the replacement of ignition or starter switch assembly by taking off the steering column cover. First disconnect the connector from the ignition switch followed by separating the lock on the warning switch connector. Begin the installment process by taking off the 2 clamps and then two screws which will detach the ignition switch.
