    A: You should first remove the steering wheel pad then proceed to uninstall the steering wheel before working on the Clock Spring Assembly / Clock Spring. Start the procedure by uninstalling the front door scuff plate LH followed by the removal of cowl side trim LH along with the front door opening trim LH. After the removal of the instrument cluster finish panel and lower No.1 panel and column upper and lower covers you can extract the clock spring. First install the clock spring before reattaching the column upper and lower covers followed by lower No.1 panel and instrument cluster finish panel. The installation process includes placing the front door opening trim LH as well as cowl side trim LH and front door scuff plate LH. Reinstallation requires the steering wheel pad and warning light assembly before replacing the steering wheel at the end of the procedure.
