Begin the fan and generator V belt replacement by first taking off the front wheel right-hand side followed by the front fender splash shield front right side and the front fender apron seal right-hand side. The maintenance process begins with the removal of engine mounting stay No.2 RH as well as engine cover sub-assy No.1 and engine moving control rod with bracket. Turn Special Service Tool: 09843-18030 clockwise for more than 3 seconds to slowly turn the belt tensioner clockwise for removing the engine mounting bracket No.2 RH and the fan and generator V belt. For installation of the new fan and generator V belt use Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 to manually turn the belt tensioner clockwise for more than 3 seconds. The service begins with engine mounting bracket No.2 RH installation at 52 Nm (531 kgf-cm, 38 ft. lbs.) torque then continues with engine moving control rod with bracket and engine mounting stay No.2 RH at 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft. lbs.). Install the front wheel RH as the last step.
