The next step is to disconnect the water inlet from the cylinder block through removing its two nuts. Install the new thermostat by placing a fresh gasket on it before setting the jiggle valve upward at a 10-degree angle. The jiggle valve requires a 10-degree alignment either to the left or right side. Reinstall the water inlet after applying 9.0 Nm of torque (92 kgf-cm or 80 inch lbs.) yet maintain caution against perserving the gasket between these parts. Instructions to complete the task include adding engine coolant and inspecting the area for fluid leaks.
