Start by unbolting the engine wire from the left-hand head cover and disconnect the protector from its bracket on the right-hand side. Afterward lift the engine wire. Use great caution to extract the pressure regulator along with its O-ring by removing the 2 bolts. For new O-ring installation, first apply gasoline to a minimal amount of the O-ring then attach the pressure regulator to the LH delivery pipe while testing it for smooth rotation; any O-ring pinching will require restarting the previous installation process. Secure each of the 2 pressure regulator bolts at 8 N.m torque and reinstall the engine wire with its bolt.
