  A: The Fuel Pressure Regulator service and repair process should begin with air cleaner hose and intake air connector removal. Before removing the fuel pressure regulator hose disconnect its source from the fuel return line using a shop rag to catch any fuel leakage. Formerly unlock the bolt which holds the engine wire to the LH cylinder head cover and extract the protector from its bracket on the RH cylinder head cover before you elevate the engine wire. Detach the two bolts to extract the pressure regulator after you pull it out from its position and remove the O-ring. After installing a new O-ring you should apply a drop of gasoline as lubrication before placing it into position with the pressure regulator. Before attaching the delivery pipe regulator check that it moves freely without obstruction; if it does not rotate easily then the O-ring needs to be removed and reinstalled while repeating earlier assembly procedures.
