You must detach the 2 oil cooler hoses from the cooler component before removing the union bolt, plate washer and oil cooler assembly with the subsequent O-ring removal from the cooler housing. The inspection of the oil cooler should be performed to detect any impairments and blockages before conducting a possible replacement. The installation starts by cleaning the oil cooler contact surface on the mounting point before adding a new O-ring onto the cooler followed by a small oil coating on the union bolt threads and beneath its head. Install the oil cooler with plate washer together on the union bolt then tighten it to 68.6 Nm (700 kgf-cm, 51 ft. lbs.). The installation process starts by attaching oil cooler hoses to the cooler unit before adding an engine filter and proper engine coolant filling and engine start-up checks for leaks and normal oil level inspection.
