How to replace the thermostat on 2003 Toyota Highlander?

In order to replace the thermostat, empty coolant draining, take off generator assembly and water inlet using two nuts and then take off the thermostat. Fit a new one with a gasket, with the jiggle valve in 10 degrees of the vertical. Install water inlet back, add coolant and check engine coolant leak.
