A: Start the Clutch Slave Cylinder repair process by using Special Service Tool: 09023-00100 to drain clutch fluid and disconnect the clutch release cylinder from the flexible hose tube. Accumulate the fluid in a container. First disconnect the clutch release cylinder assembly through the removal of 3 bolts and the clutch line bracket. The procedure requires removal of bleeder plug cap from the bleeder plug. Attach the release cylinder bleeder plug afterward then torque it to reach 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 inch lbs.). The first step for clutch release cylinder kit installation requires installing the bleeder plug cap followed by winding a new spring before applying lithium soap base glycol grease to all parts. Place the cylinder piston and push rod together with the boot assembly onto the cylinder tube while paying attention to avoid inside damage. The clutch release cylinder assembly together with the clutch line bracket are installed with two bolts torqued to 11.8 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.). This is followed by installing the flexible hose tube with 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.). Connect the clutch release cylinder and flexible hose tube by using Special Service Tool: 09023-00100 and torque it to 15.2 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.). After filling the brake reservoir tank with brake fluid complete the clutch system bleeding process while verifying clutch fluid leakage and torquing the bleeder plug to 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 inch lbs.).
