How to replace the Air Bag Sensor Assembly on 2003 Toyota Camry?

Start replacing the Air Bag Sensor Assembly after disconnecting the battery negative terminal while taking proper safety measures. Start by removing the console panel upper rear and console box carpet as well as the rear console box and instrument panel cup holder tray without ashtray and the instrument panel ash receptacle assembly with ashtray. Proceed then by removing the console panel upper followed by the console box front along with air duct rear No.1 and No.2 and Console box duct No.1 specifically for auto air conditioner systems. Unplug the three connectors from the air bag sensor assembly center before removing its three retaining bolts. Testing of the air bag sensor assembly center must be completed before reinstall. After removal of the battery negative terminal you should wait 90 seconds with the ignition switch off. Secure the air bag sensor assembly center to its installation position using temporary 3 bolts until they reach 17.5 N.m (178 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf) torque value. Connect the connector to the air bag sensor assembly center and check for proper water-proof sheet placement without any loose fitting. Before closing the check execute an inspection of the SRS warning light operation.
