The new park/neutral position switch assembly must be positioned with bolt before tightening it to 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) then installing a new lock washer and tightening the new nut to 7 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 inch lbs.). Stretch the claws at the lock washer to create a stake that will hold the nut steady during adjustment of the park/neutral position switch. The installation process involves connecting the park/neutral position switch connector along with engine under cover reinstallation in No.2 and concluding the park/neutral position switch assembly inspection.
