Use a torque wrench to make continuous smooth turns at a pace of 2 to 4 seconds per turn for the fifth turn and note the torque measurement which must be between 0.7 - 4.4 Nm (7 - 45 kgf-cm, 6 - 39 inch lbs.). Installation requires Special Service Tool: 09309-37010 along with a socket wrench to install a new ball joint, followed by adding a new snap ring with a snap ring expander before using the new wire and boot with supplied grease to finalize the installation of the steering knuckle with the axle hub.
