Service of the sway bar kit must start with removing the engine under cover. Begin sway bar kit service by removing each sway bar link through proper removal of its nut and bolt and two retainers as well as two cushions and sway bar link. Secure the bolt to 52 Nm (530 kgf-cm, 38 ft. lbs.) and the nut to 25 Nm (250 kgf-cm, 18 ft. lbs.). Perform this process again on the sway bar links located on the other wheel side. Proceed to remove the sway bar kit by first disassembling its 4 bolts and 2 brackets and 2 cushions according to the prescribed torque specification of 18 Nm (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.). The sway bar kit must be installed along with its supporting links in the exact order that you removed them.
