How to service the Fuel Pressure Regulator on 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser?

The Fuel Pressure Regulator service requires removal of the V-bank cover. You must start by detaching the vacuum sensing hose from the intake air resonator and the fuel return hose from the pressure regulator while putting a shop towel under the pressure regulator to contain any possible leaks. First disconnect two bolts then withdraw the pressure regulator while carefully removing its O-ring from the installation. A thin layer of gasoline should be used to treat a new O-ring before installing it onto the pressure regulator. Install the delivery pipe pressure regulator with its left and right turns then fasten it with two bolts tightened to 7.5 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf). Reconnect both hose connections by placing the vacuum sensing hose to the intake air resonator and the fuel return hose to the pressure regulator. Conclude the procedure by verifying there are no fuel leaks then reattach the V-bank cover.
