Start by removing the union bolt after separating the gaskets from the oil cooler while also taking out the O-ring. Check the oil cooler for any damage and clogging and replace it according to need. To install an oil cooler start by cleaning its mounting contact area while placing a new O-ring onto the cooler and adding engine oil to the union bolt threads along with its head surface. The oil cooler installation requires new gasket application together with the union bolt which must be torqued to 59 Nm (600 kgf-cm, 43 ft. lbs.). Start the engine after connecting No.1 and No.2 oil cooler hoses and filling it with engine coolant while inspecting for coolant and engine oil leaks.
