How to service the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2002 Toyota 4Runner?

Service of the Camshaft Position Sensor begins by removing the No.2 timing belt cover followed by disconnecting the camshaft position sensor connector then removing both bolts at the position sensor before removing the sensor itself. You should disconnect the cord clamp from the No.3 timing belt cover. Attach the cord clamp to the timing belt cover then place the camshaft position sensor onto the bolt while tightening it to 7.8 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in.lbf) torque before connecting the sensor connector. When installing complete the process by putting back the No.2 timing belt cover.
