The service requires removal of release cylinder bolts while applying 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) of torque followed by cylinder extraction from the system. Use compressed air to remove the piston and its spring from the cylinder by pulling first the boot equipped with the push rod. The piston needs lithium soap base glycol grease application before installing it with its spring back into the cylinder before placing the boot with push rod onto the cylinder. Finally installation must follow the opposite steps of removal while post-installation bleeding of the clutch system remains essential.
