In order to service the parking brake shoe, dismount the rear wheel and disc brake assembly, and loosen the parking brake lever. Take off the front and back shoes and check all the areas of wear. Clean up measure clearances and reassemble, using high temperature grease. Park the vehicle and check the lever travel again, then adjust the shoes and adjust by driving.
