The first step for Radiator Cooling Fan Motor maintenance involves removing the No.1 cooling fan through these procedures: detach the battery and battery tray then disconnect the cruise control actuator, separate the No.3 engine room relay block from the radiator and cooling fan connector and its wire clamps from the fan shroud followed by unscrewing the 2 bolts with 5.0 Nm (50 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.) torque. The second part of fan removal requires draining engine coolant while disconnecting upper radiator hose connections from the radiator and cooling fan with No.1 ECT switch wires before removing wire clamps from the fan shroud and finally separating the No.1 ECT switch connector before unbolting the 2 screws securing the fan at 5.0 Nm (50 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.). The installation process follows the opposite sequence of the uninstallation steps.
