Service of the radiator cooling fan motor starts with No.1 cooling fan removal through a process that includes battery tray removal as well as disconnecting the cruise control actuator and No.3 engine room relay block from the radiator and the cooling fan connector before taking off the fan shroud wire clamps and then taking out the two bolts securing the cooling fan using a torque of 5.0 Nm (50 kgf.cm, 44 inch lbs.). The process to replace the No.2 cooling fan starts by draining engine coolant then disconnecting the upper radiator hose and cooling fan and No.1 ECT switch wire connectors before removing wire clamps from the fan shroud and disconnecting the No.1 ECT switch connector followed by removing two hardware bolts securing the cooling fan at 5.0 Nm (50 kgf.cm, 44 inch lbs.). The procedure for installation follows the opposite steps used during removal.
