You must remove the sensor by uninstalling both its bolt and itself then remove the O-ring attached to the sensor. Application requires an ATF-coated new O-ring followed by installation onto the vehicle speed sensor before sensor installation and bolt torquing to 5.4 Nm (48 in lbs). Reestablish the connection between the vehicle speed sensor connector as the final step.
