  A: The servicing of the Radiator Cooling Fan Motor starts with boxes such as the tool box and luggage compartment trim box cover being taken off. Detach the two electric cooling fan connectors from their terminals before removing two bolts, two nuts and two spare wheel carrier extensions and finally the two bolts securing the electric cooling fan. Shroud removal requires you to first detach the fan along with its nut followed by wire and connector holder disconnection from the fan shroud before you use a screwdriver to uninstall the 3 screws from the fan motor. Install the fan motor first with its 3 screws while maintaining 2.55 Nm torque (26 kgf-cm) (23 inch lbs) and then fasten the wire along with the connector holder onto the fan shroud. Fasten the fan with the nut while torquing it at 6.18 Nm (63 kgf-cm, 55 inch lbs.). The procedure requires installation of the electric cooling fan using two bolts tightened to 5 Nm and securing the two spare wheel carrier extensions through two bolts and two nuts tightened to 8 Nm followed by reconnection of the two electric cooling fan connectors. Afterward install both the luggage compartment trim box cover and tool box.
