Service the brake caliper by first unhooking the parking brake cable together with the flexible hose by removing the union bolt and gasket while torquing it to 30 Nm (310 kgf cm, 22 ft. lbs.). A container should be used to capture brake fluid during this operation while also implementing proper installation of the flexible hose lock into its corresponding lock hole. First uninstall the caliper by removing the installation bolt applied to 20 Nm (204 kgf cm, 15 ft. lbs.) after which the two pads should be removed alongside all four anti-squeal shims and pad support plates. To install the part follow the opposite order of removal by adding brake fluid to the reservoir then perform brake system bleeding before inspecting for fluid leakage.
