How to service the ignition coil on 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser?

The first step for ignition coil service is to remove both the V-bank cover along with the intake air connector. The LH cylinder head cover requires unfastening its engine wire through removal of two wire clamps and the wire itself. The service process starts with disconnecting the ignition coil (with igniter) connectors followed by the removal of ignition coils (with igniter) from the spark plugs through bolt removal and coil (with igniter) extraction. Eight ignition coils (with igniters) need to be taken out following a 7.5 Nm torque application using 7.5 Nm quantity. The steps needed for installation must be completed in reverse order to those used for dismantling.
