Preserve fluid in a suitable container while tightening the connection to 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.). Begin by removing the clip and clevis pin after which you should take out the two mounting nuts to extract the master cylinder by using a torque of 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.). The disassembly process begins with extracting the slotted spring pin through the use of a pin punch and hammer to remove the reservoir tank followed by its extraction with the grommet. Apply snap ring pliers to remove the push rod snap ring while pulling back the boot before extracting the piston.
