The process for vehicles without California specification requires uninstallation of the 4 screws and gasket and IAC valve. The servicing of the IAC valve for California vehicles requires removing 3 screws and the gasket and valve. The technician should install a new gasket onto the throttle body during installation. Reinstallation occurs in the opposite sequence of disassembly.
