    The service of drive belt starts with PS pump drive belt removal along with engine under cover removal. The drive belt removal process requires adjusting the idle pulley lock nut so you can decrease tension until you can easily remove the belt. To install the new belt first apply 2.5 N.m (25 kgf.cm, 22 in.lbf) torque to the idle pulley lock nut before placing the belt. When setting drive belt tension the adjusting bolt must be utilized to achieve a new belt tension at 160 plus or minus 25 lbf and a used belt tension at 100 plus or minus 25 lbf. Following adjustment work on the idle pulley lock nut reach 39 N.m (400 kgf.cm, 29 ft.lbf) then install the PS pump drive belt before reinstalling the engine under cover.
