The removal of the rear door lock actuator begins by removing the rear door window regulator handle assembly when power windows are not present. Moving forward remove the rear door inside handle bezel and then separate the rear door armrest upper base panel until you reach the power window item if it exists. Proceed with disconnecting both the rear door trim board sub-assembly and the rear door inside handle sub-assembly. You must disconnect the rear door inner glass Weather Strip along with the door trim bracket and rear door service hole cover and Weather Strip and glass run and window division bar sub-assembly. The installation requires removal of both the rear door quarter window glass together with the rear door glass sub-assembly. The rear door lock assembly without power door lock features three screws which can be removed using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30). After unscrewing these nuts move the assembly downward to extract the release plate from the rear door outside handle frame. The initial procedure for power door lock assemblies begins with the same steps until the removal of the door lock wiring harness seal. To work on the rear door lock remote control cable assembly one must only disconnect the system when no power door lock exists. Users should first tape the screwdriver tip before using it to disengage the claw on power door locks while following the same screw removal method. You should remove the rear door inside locking cable assembly when there is no power door lock. You should disconnect the three claws from the power door lock by using a screwdriver after taping its tip (repeatedly advised).

Begin by installing the front door inside locking cable assembly for both configurations, with or without the power door lock, ensuring to engage the 3 claws if applicable.

Remove the front door inside handle bezel.

Proceed to install the rear door glass run, rear door glass sub-assembly, rear door quarter window glass, rear door window division bar sub-assembly, rear door weatherstrip, rear door service hole cover, door trim bracket, rear door inner glass weatherstrip, rear door inside handle sub-assembly, rear door trim board sub-assembly, rear door armrest upper base panel for both configurations, rear door inside handle bezel, and rear door window regulator handle assembly for the non-power window version.
