    Q:
How to remove the heated oxygen sensors on Toyota Tundra? Posted by Customer
    A:
One must start by disconnecting the battery cable from the negative terminal while waiting a minimum of 90 seconds from turning off the ignition to permit navigation system memory recording before beginning heater oxygen sensor removal. The removal process for the Regular Cab Standard Deck starts with front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly followed by the front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly. Proceed with removal of front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly first and then front exhaust pipe assembly on different configurations. The installation process ends with the removal of Bank 1 Sensor 2 heated oxygen sensor through Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 before proceeding with the Bank 2 Sensor 2 heated oxygen sensor as well.

    Q:
How to remove the oxygen sensor on Toyota Tundra? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to remove the oxygen sensor includes disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable then allowing the navigation system to record its information and settings during a 90-second waiting period after turning off the ignition. When working on the Regular Cab Standard Deck remove the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly through 4 bolt and 2 nut removal before disconnecting the exhaust pipe from its support to take out 2 gaskets. The front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly removal for this model starts with disconnecting the air fuel ratio sensor connector and the heated oxygen sensor connector then continuing with uninstalling 3 nuts and the exhaust pipe alongside a gasket. For vehicles that are not Regular Cab Standard Decks one must disconnect the same connectors before removing 3 nuts along with 2 bolts, the exhaust pipe, and gasket. The front exhaust pipe assembly can be taken out through disconnecting the air fuel ratio sensor connector and heated oxygen sensor connector and clamps removal followed by bolt and nut removal and exhaustion of the pipe and gaskets. Terminal the air fuel ratio sensors for Bank 1 Sensor 1 together with Bank 2 Sensor 1 using Special Service Tool: 09224-00010.

    Q:
How to remove the oxygen sensor and air fuel ratio sensor on Toyota Sequoia? Posted by Customer
    A:
A minimum of two handlers should perform the oxygen sensor removal procedure while using protective gloves because the exhaust pipe remains hot following engine shutdown; check the exhaust pipe has cooled down completely before starting work. The front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly removal process starts by disconnecting both the air fuel ratio sensor connector and heated oxygen sensor connector before uninstalling the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly followed by removing 3 nuts and the front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly pipe. The front exhaust pipe assembly requires removal of air fuel ratio and heated oxygen sensor connectors and two clamps before extracting two center exhaust pipe bolts as well as three front exhaust pipe assembly pipe nuts. The removal of the air fuel ratio sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 1 on the 2WD model requires Special Service Tool: 09224-00010. Special Service Tool 09224-00010 needs to be used to remove the air fuel ratio sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 1 on the 4WD model alongside the tool. Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 is required again to remove the air fuel ratio sensor for Bank 2 Sensor 1.
