    A proper service of the cooling fan motor starts with disconnecting the negative battery cable and withholding a minimum 90-second wait to stop Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. Next, remove the radiator assembly. The service procedure starts by unfastening two nuts and two fans before removing the number 1 cooling fan motor by undoing three screws followed by the number 2 cooling fan motor removal with the same screw method. The reassembly process starts by installing the No. 2 cooling fan motor using 3 screws torqued to 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 inch lbs.) while following it with No. 1 cooling fan motor installation using the same procedure. Mount the two fans using the two nuts where careful torquing to 6.3 Nm (64 kgf-cm, 55 inch lbs.) should be followed by checking the fan motors operate correctly. First, return the radiator to its original position followed by cable reconnection to the negative battery terminal and adding engine coolant before inspecting the coolant for leaks.
