In order to service the wiper switch, unscrew the negative battery terminal. Disconnect two connectors to remove the steering column cover and switch of the wiper. Scrupulously loosen the claw using a shielded screwdriver. Install the switch again, and reconnect all the connectors, and put the cover back on and reconnect the battery using 5.4 N. m. torque.
