Before attaching terminal B the wire harness clamp must be installed then terminal B with nut at 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm and 7.2 ft-lbf) torque should be tightened afterward terminal cap is mounted. The installation process includes placing the fan and generator V belt then adjusting the belts before performing a visual inspection of both belts. End your installation of the engine under cover RH by connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal while applying 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) torque.
